This shot required painting a matte for nearly the entire background, tracking it in place, adding some smoke particle effects, matching the grain and rotoscoping the actor back in. I also added the first muzzle flare and changed the frame of the second muzzle flare.

This shot had two safety crew guys putting out fires in a scene from 'The Fall of Sam Axe'. I had to paint a matte of both trucks and carefully place smoke generating particle steams to mask out the crew while leaving the fire.

I left the crew member in the first shot and wiped him out, then show the full show with the crew member removed. The fun part was of course keeping all the broken glass and water drops in the shot.

I created a fake wall in Photoshop, tracked it in, matched the color and exposure changes in each clip, matched the blur and grain, then rotoscoped the character back in.
